For more than 60 years, the Chamber has hosted very successful community events such as their annual Crab Feed, Wooden Boat Show and Ducky Derby (typically 3rd weekend in April) and the Native American Salmon Bake (3rd Saturday in September).
In 2019 through a grant utilizing Lincoln County Transient Room Tax funds the Chamber hired their first paid leadership in over 71 years. These funds are specifically dedicated to help Depoe Bay and surrounding tourist communities become more prominent in the minds of those visiting Oregon. To this end, Discover Depoe Bay was founded in 2019 to support and promote the local tourism economy from Gleneden to Otter Rock.
Join the Depoe Bay Chamber
Chamber Membership benefits were upgraded in Fall 2019 based on surveys of current and prospective members. Along with the Chamber’s expanded tourism-based objectives, member benefits are also more focused on supporting the marketing and advertising needs of Chamber businesses. Recent grant funding from the Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA) and Travel Oregon have significantly heightened the Chamber’s ability to reach this goal and better support local organizations via Discover Depoe Bay.

Depoe Bay Community Fund
The Depoe Bay Community Fund is supported and facilitated by the Chamber. This much needed and valued community resource is funded by proceeds from the Annual Salmon Bake along with donations from individuals and businesses. Funded projects over the past several years include purchasing land and establishing hiking trails near the City Park, designing and building the park gazebo, providing and installing memorial benches along the sea wall and harbor, adding ADA access, etc.
